Die Vorsitzende der israelischen Anti-Drogen-Behörde, gab nun bekannt, dass Amy in den nächsten Wochen in der renommierten “Barzilai”-Klinik behandelt wird. Dort sei Professor Waismann tätig, der angeblich sehr effektive Methoden für den Drogenentzug hat.
In einer fünf bis sechs Stunden andauernden Narkose werden die Rezeptoren die für den Entzug zuständig sind gereinigt, eine Methode, bei der es angeblich zu fast keinen Entzugserscheinungen kommen kann. Ob dies allerdings erfolgsversprechend ist bleibt offen.
