Jean-Claude Van Damme hat auf dem Set zu seinem neuen Film ” The Weapon” einen Herzinfarkt erlitten.
Laut der Produktionsfirma Twitch, wurde die Produktion des Films The Weapon am Dienstag gestoppt, einen Tag nach Van Damme’s 50-sten Geburtstag, nachdem er während des Drehs einen leichten Herzinfarkt erlitt.
Der Schauspieler wurde sofort in ein Krankenhaus in New Orleans gebracht, später kehrte er jedoch mit seiner Frau Gladys in seine Heimat nach Belgien zurück. Laut den Ärzten besteht vorerst keine Gefahr auf einen erneuten Herzinfarkt.
Damit steht einer vollen Genesung unseres Actionhelden also nichts mehr im Wege. Wann der Film zu ende gedreht wird ließ die Produktionsfirma jedoch offen.
